Students who wants to participate in this program will need a valid email address from the college or university. Amazon is asking a few questions such as your chosen vocation of study and graduation date. One accepted, there are a bunch of free benefits such as free one day delivery and special rates for things being sent out in the evening. You can also get a 20% discount on the Kindle Fire and also physical textbooks. One of the main benefits of this service is for students to tap into the used textbook market via Amazon. Instead of visiting ebay, Craigslist or other secondmarket student sites, Amazon is hoping to entice students with their expansive ecosystem. The primary drawback of this program, is that students will automatically be enrolled in a discounted version of Amazon Prime at the end of the free six month program. Amazon is hoping to rope in a large percentage of the students who forget to cancel or read the terms and conditions.Still, Prime has benefits in the UK, such as Instant Video, Kindle Lending Library and many of the other flagship Amazon programs.
