The Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 2 has only been on the market for a few short months and it looks like a third generation model is already in the works. The Kindle Paperwhite 3 is said to have a higher resolution of 300 PPI and the same design as the Kobo Aura that has the screen flush with the bezel. TechCrunch has claimed to have gotten a hold of one of the prototypes that is being internationally called “Ice Wine.” They mentioned it has a new lighter design that mimics the new Kindle Fire HDX tablets and has a rear power button. The device is also rumored to have haptic feedback along the edges, which will give vibrating feedback when you do things like move to the next page. One of the most exciting aspects of this new device is the new font. Amazon is is developing a new font from scratch that they say will be indicative to long reading sessions.
