Today, Simon & Schuster and OverDrive announced that the full catalog of Simon & Schuster eBooks are in pilot at 31 OverDrive partner public libraries in the United States. The titles are available for lending, as well as for purchase by readers through the Library BIN platform. As part of the pilot, each eBook purchased for lending can be checked out an unlimited number of times on a one copy/one user basis for a period of 12 months. Alternately, readers can purchase the eBook directly through the library website, in which case the library will receive an affiliate fee. Simon & Schuster's full catalog of frontlist and backlist titles is eligible for the program, with all new titles available simultaneous with publication.
